Verified User Terms, Claims, Refunds
Verified users have made a payment of 500 RMB that is held by
sellhappy.org. This payment is held in
order to protect buyers as the last step in a dispute resolution, which can then be used to compensate
a buyer with up to 500 RMB.
Process for dispute resolution with a Verified Seller.
The Seller and Buyer work to resolve any issues themselves
without involving sellhappy.org.
If a resolution is not obtained, the Buyer can contact us
using the Contact Us form at the bottom of the page.
The buyer must submit any supporting evidence including any
conversations that they have had with the Seller.
We will review the evidence and contact the Seller.
We will mediate between the Buyer and Seller to try and reach
a resolution.
If a resolution cannot be found then the buyer will be compensated
with the value that they have paid to the Seller, up to a maximum of 500 RMB.
The Seller will lose their verified status and must pay
another 500 RMB to regain this status.
If the seller is in breach of our terms, then their account
will also be terminated.
Consideration before becoming a Verified Seller
Verified Seller status gives confidence to buyers that they
are protected by a compensation scheme.
However please be aware that refunds of the deposit amount
are not always supported as;
The Seller could abuse the Verified status by selling a
faulty item, recovering their deposit and then leaving sellhappy.org before the
buyer receives their item and is able to make a claim. The buyer would have made the purchase in
good faith, expecting to be protected by the Verified Seller scheme.
If a claim is made against the Seller and a refund is issued to the Buyer by sellhappy.org, the Verified Seller will lose their full deposit amount, regardless of how much is refunded to the Buyer.
If a Seller breaches our terms and conditions and their account is terminated, they will also forfeit their Verified Seller fee. If they appeal and their account is re-instated, then it will be re-instated with the Verified Seller Green Tick and their deposit may be refunded following the guide below.
Applying for a Verified Seller deposit refund
The account must not have any active listings and it must not have posted a listing or made sale for at
least 30 days
The accounts email address must not have been changed for at
least 30 days
The Verified seller can contact us using our contact form at
the bottom of the site to request a refund. Please include your accounts Username.
We will respond to the accounts official email account to
confirm the request.
If a response is received confirming the refund, the Verified
Green Tick will be removed from the Sellers account.
If after 7 days we have received no responses about the
removal of the Verified status from other users, we will contact the seller for an AliPay or WeChat QR code in order to process the refund.
PLEASE NOTE – Due to payment processing fees by our gateway,
the Seller will receive a refund for the full amount LESS 5%
