Stores are a convenient tool for sellers as they are basically a mini website within the main website.  If a Seller has a store enabled, then every item that they post will be included on the main website and within their own store.  Stores also enable Sellers to provide extra information to potential Buyers by adding About Us, Shipping Information and Company Policy pages to their own stores.  Store owners are also able to add their own logos to their home page.

Once a store has been setup, Sellers can promote their stores by either sharing a website link or by creating a QR code from their home page.

Setting up a new store can be achieved with only a few simple steps.  The options available when setting up your store are;

Store Subscription – Choose between a Free or Premium subscription, both of which include unlimited listings.  You can switch between the subscription types at any time without losing your store and/or listings.

Store Name – This is the name of your store.

Store Description – A short description about the store.  This will be shown on the stores home page to the right of the logo.

Store Logo – Upload a logo for your store. 

Store Category – Select the MAIN category for your store.  You can list items under any categories selected under Store Categories (see below)

Store Meta Description – This is the description that search engines will use when listing your store in search results.

Select Categories – These are the categories that will be available for you to list items under when you click ‘Sell’.  If you intend to list items in a wide range of categories, then leave this blank and all of the SellHappy categories will be available to you when you list an item.  However, if you only intend to list in a small number of categories then select them here.  This will mean that you do not have to search through every category when listing an item.  You can always add categories to this list later if you need to.  For example, if you will only ever sell food, then you should select the ‘Food and Beverages’ category here.
